Today is going to be a great day and here’s why: today, you got to see the 2017 Tony Award winning Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen!

Little did you know that the show would affect you in such profound ways. The “you will be found” theme will move you the most, saying that no one is ever alone. No matter who you are, what you look like, or how popular you are, someone will always be there for you. In a world of increased technology, it can be very easy to feel alone or that no one would notice if you disappeared. Dear Evan Hansen will show you that those feelings aren’t true; there will always be someone there for you.

Everyone in the cast is amazing, and you will be blown away by every single one of them. Each actor and actress’ interpretations of their characters are incredibly unique and give deep insights into who they were as people. Ben Levi Ross portrays Evan with great skill, showing the struggle between his anxiety and newly found popularity. In addition to their acting, all of the cast members have astounding vocals that will both inspire and amaze you.

Overall, you will leave the theater crying (in a good way) and with a deep feeling of contentment. Once again, DPAC will deliver you a life-changing experience that you will remember "for forever”!
