Beetlejuice Blog:
By : Jordan
On April 11th, I got to have the incredible DPAC ambassador experience once again, this time by shadowing the ticketing department before “Beetlejuice” the musical. The musical itself was fantastic, hilarious, and utterly unique (I LOVED IT!!!). However, I would like to use this blog to tell you all about my pre-show volunteering with the hard-working people behind the glass at the ticketing booth.
While observing the ticket booth workers, I got the chance to talk to several wonderful workers. Two of them were named Joseph and Juanita. Joseph and I talked a lot, and he explained to me how he works the technical side of ticketing, as well as how he works with customers. Juanita got me really engaged in the pre-show ticketing process, by having me search for the names of customers who were coming to pick up their tickets. At one point before the show, a DPAC photographer came inside the ticketing booth and took pictures of me and the workers!
Joseph worked on the computers, handling the technical side of ticketing!

THE ICONIC BEETLEJUICE SIGN IN ALL ITS GLORY!!!
Getting to sit behind the glass and watching Joseph, Juanita, and the others do their work gave me a newfound appreciation for all of the spectacular and dedicated workers/volunteers that DPAC has. Make sure to take a second to thank them when you come to see Beetlejuice (and you have to come see Beetlejuice, otherwise you will miss one of my new favorite musicals ever).
Until next time!
