Blippi Ambassador Blog
By Lila
Last night, Tuesday the 25th of October, I had the opportunity to help work the show Blippi The Wonderful World Tour. I also got to work behind the scenes with the event staff by helping at the guest services before the show.
When working at the guest services, I got to meet one of DPAC’s excellent staff members, Jan. She showed me all the ins and outs of the guest services staff, from checking in volunteers to helping guests with item checks and questions. I got the chance to check guest items when Jan had become busy with another task. Seeing the differences in the lobby setup between kid shows and regular shows was fascinating. The people-watching was terrific from the guest services. There were so many kids and parents covered from head to toe with Blippi.
Finally, it was showtime! Before Blippi came on stage, we got to meet our preshow Meekah. She sang a few songs, getting all the kids warmed up. Once Meekah was done, it was officially time for Blippi. The show mainly consisted of singing and dancing with little dialogue, which works great for kids and their attention span.
Thank you DPAC for this amazing opportunity!
