DPAC Scores Again with Top-Five and Top-Ten Rankings among U.S. Theaters
As DPAC’s 2022 events come to a close this week with four sellout shows, DPAC officials announced today that DPAC is once again ranked among the top theaters in America. In recently released 2022 year-end national rankings for sales and attendance, VenuesNow, Billboard Magazine, and Pollstar placed DPAC as their respective #2, #4, and #6 ranked theaters in the U.S.
For over a decade, DPAC has ranked alongside some of the biggest and most iconic theaters in the country and this track record of success continued in 2022 with over 500,000 guests coming to Durham for 226 performances of hit Broadway shows, superstar concerts, the biggest comedians in the world and special events of all kinds.
Operated under the direction of Nederlander and Professional Facilities Management (PFM), DPAC has been ranked among the top-ten theaters in America every year since 2010.
Bob Klaus, General Manager of DPAC, said, “2022 saw guests returning to live events in near record numbers. A variety of incredible events in combination with DPAC’s world-class customer service made this one of our best years ever. I can’t thank the fans and performers enough, it’s their shared love of live entertainment that comes together and makes DPAC so special.”
